Huawei is expanding and improving on its innovative Creation of Beauty campaign with a suite of new products led by the elegant new MateBook X Pro 2024 notebook. This powerful new laptop boasts the latest high-performance processors that vastly improves performance over its predecessor. However, that doesn’t mean you need to compromise on portability. Huawei has brought the weight down for this new model, tipping the scales at just 980g.

Huawei engineers have spent two years upgrading the MateBook X Pro’s materials through the new CLOUD Falcon Architecture. This involves a lightweight Modular PCB resulting in a compact internal structure which, in turn, allows for a larger battery, fan and speaker. This works in tandem with Huawei’s upgraded Shark Fin Heat Dissipation system with a three-dimensional air inlet and outlet design making air intake across the back, left and right of the notebook air intake flow more smoothly. In total, the performance of the laptop as well as its battery life are noticeably improved, the chassis stays cool to the touch and software runs smoothly.

Building on the powerful internals and lighter than light design is a beautiful new screen designed to facilitate creativity in mesmerising new ways. The previous generation’s display has been upgraded to an OLED panel running at a 120Hz refresh rate, giving animations and movies extreme fluidity and depth of contrast. Each MateBook X Pro screen has been professionally color-corrected before leaving the factory. It’s effortlessly suited for professional creation such as 4K video rendering and exporting or large-scale software programming.

The MateBook X Pro is accompanied by the MateBook 14 laptop and MatePad 11.5”S tablet which both foster the Creation of Beauty through unique and innovative features. On the latter, Huawei engineers studied how the eyes react to different light and analyzed the impact of traditional paper on visual and drawing experience to develop the PaperMatte Display technology. This enables users to not only read more clearly, but write and draw more naturally that leads to a deeper creative expression. The MatePad 11.5″S also comes with a HUAWEI Smart Magnetic Keyboard (powered by NearLink) that lets you stand the tablet on a small desk and type on the keyboard for a satisfying workflow even in a smaller space.

The tools of creation aren’t simply limited to hardware. Huawei-developed apps like GoPaint and Huawei Notes also provide users with simple and convenient drawing and recording functions that seamlessly sync across devices. GoPaint has been developed with precise technical engineering to present lower latency and improve graphics rendering — so when using multiple layers and large canvases, creators can smoothly produce professional illustrations without worrying about technical limitations.

Meanwhile, Huawei Notes now uses advanced audio processing technologies and intelligent algorithms to accurately sync audio and text. That means you can dictate thoughts or work and have it quickly transcribed for you. And it works according to your needs so, for example, when reviewing the notes, users can locate handwriting content to also obtain any corresponding audio information they may have attached to the same place.

By working to closely integrate both hardware and software solutions, Huawei remains able to bring a unifying creative toolkit to global consumers. They can enjoy the whole process of creation, whether for business or pleasure.
