Amazon is gonna get most of the spotlight for the next 48 hours or so, but there’s another big sale happening this week — the Best Buy Black Friday in July sale launched early Monday morning. Our deals expert Olivia Halevy has been vetting Best Buy’s top deals all day. Hit up the link below to check out her top posts, including deals on Apple, Ninja, Xbox, and more.

Here’s a small confession: I hate shopping for laptops at Amazon. Their laptop store is flooded with a lot of — how can I put this nicely — junk laptop deals. Sometimes the laptop itself stinks, whereas other times it’s the actual brand/seller that’s questionable. Our computing writer Tony Polanco has rounded up the best Prime Day laptop deals he’d buy with his own money. It includes reliable budget machines (for children/young students) as well as powerful gaming rigs. And some killer Mac deals as well.

Yeti Rambler

Yeti mugs and tumblers are magical. They do a solid job of keeping your cold drinks chilled and your hot drinks piping hot. It’s not common to see them on sale, but right now Amazon has multiple Yeti products on sale from $14. The sale includes your classic mugs and tumblers as well as coolers, bags, and jugs.

There are heatwaves happening across the country, which means beach and pool season is here. If you need something to read while lounging poolside, Amazon has a few of its Kindles on sale for Prime Day. Sadly, not all Kindles are on sale, but you can pick one up for as little as $174. Or if you don’t need a Kindle, you can get 3 free months of a Kindle Unlimited subscription. Win!

I admit, I’m not a camera expert. However, our reviews editor Peter Wolinski is both expert and photographer. He’s hand-picked the best action cameras you can get on sale right now. He’s particularly excited to see plenty of all-time price lows right now.  In addition to cameras, GoPro subscriptions and accessories are also on sale today. Read his roundup of today’s top deals below.

Ring video doorbell Prime day

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Prime Day is an excellent time to shop Amazon gear. That includes Amazon-owned brands like Ring. Expert deals writer Olivia Halevy has vetted 13 of the best Ring deals you can get right now at Amazon. So if you need to up your security game, this week is the time to do it. Also, check out how she used her Blink Minis to check in on her dog while she was on vacation. (The Blink Minis are also on sale right now).

Crocs deals

I’ve personally never worn a pair of Crocs, but I know dozens of folks who swear by them. Whether you’re a fan or just curios, right now Amazon has various Crocs on sale and our fitness writer Jessica Downey has picked some of her top deals. Her roundup includes classic styles as well as clogs and slides.

Asics Gel Kayano 30

There are a lot of runners here at Tom’s Guide. Not just casual runners, but marathon runners as well. Our fitness team has tested all of the best running shoes and they’ve come up with a roundup of the best Prime Day running shoes on sale. I’m a runner as well, and my personal favorite deal is the Asics Gel-Kayano 30 for $99 at Amazon. It’s a comfy and lightweight stability shoe thats makes you feel like you’re running on clouds instead of pavement. It’s my current shoe and I’ve already picked up a second pair at this epic price. You can check out our other recs via the link below.

They’re baaaack! A few Prime Days ago Amazon started offering invite-only deals for Prime members. To get these deals, you need to log into your Prime account and request an invite. You then have to wait and check your inbox to see if Amazon “invites” you to purchase the deal. Last year, they had an amazing 43″ 4K TV deal for $99. Alas, they didn’t bring that deal back for Prime Day 2024, but you can check out this year’s top invite-only deals below. On a side note, I signed up for that $99 TV deal last year and although I didn’t get invited to buy it, I do recall receiving an Amazon credit just for signing up. I can’t guarantee they’ll do that again this year, but you got nothing to lose!

As an Apple user, I’m always looking for ways to score Apple gear on the cheap and in my opinion Prime Day is one of the best times of the year to shop. Yes, you can find Apple deals pretty much any day of the week these days, but Prime Day tends to push prices lower than your typical weekly sale. Our deals expert Millie Davis-Williams has rounded up seven Apple deals worth shopping now. Check our her top picks below.

Prime Day Apple deals — 7 deals from $79

LG B4 OLED TV

Millie highlighted her favorite TV deal earlier this morning, but I wanna talk about OLED TV deals for a quick sec. If you want the least-expensive OLED TV possible, you won’t find it at Amazon. Best Buy has the exclusive on the LG B4 48-inch 4K OLED TV which is selling for $799. (Amazon is only selling the larger sizes of the B4). I don’t foresee any other OLEDs dropping cheaper than this $799 price. Maybe the year-old LG 48-inch C3 OLED could hit $999, but given that the 42-inch is currently sold out at Amazon, I doubt it.

TLDR: Best Buy will likely have the cheapest OLED TV prices this Prime Day (if you don’t mind the 48-inch screen). Make sure to follow our Prime Day TV deals page for more discounts.

G’morning from a balmy and humid NYC! This is Louis here taking over our Prime Day live blog from deals expert Millie. So technically, Prime Day is still a few hours out. It starts on July 16 at 12:01 a.m. (PT), which would be 2:59am here on the East Coast. However, there are hundreds of Amazon deals you can get right now. Likewise, there are plenty of junk deals out there. The purpose of our live blog is to weed out those bad deals and only focus on the good ones. The entire Tom’s Guide team will be surfacing those epic deals on items we own or have reviewed. So all that said…..let’s continue with the deal hunting!

Amazon Echo Dot (5th Gen)

What says Prime Day more than an Alexa speaker? The Echo Dot (5th-Gen) is one of the best-value smart speakers from Amazon due to its host of handy extra features. As well as having access to all the best Alexa skills, it has a built-in temperature sensor and can be used as an Eero Wi-Fi extender. Right now the Echo Dot (5th Gen) is $24 at Amazon.

Peloton Bike+

Invite-only deals have made a comeback for Prime Day. They’re available in limited quantities, so you have to request an invitation to purchase the items on Prime Day itself.

One of the best invite-only deals I’ve found is for this Peloton bike. Right now the Original Peloton Bike is $1,011 at Amazon for Prime members who receive an invitation. This is a hefty $443 discount, so if you want it, request an invitation ASAP. (Just note that not everyone who requests an invitation will actually get one.)

Want to get around in style? One of the best electric scooters or best electric bikes should do the trick. They can get pretty expensive, so it’s a smart choice to wait for major retail holidays like Prime Day, where you can save big bucks. And if you need help deciding which one to buy, check out our roundup of e-bike and e-scooter deals.

Hisense U8N Mini-LED TV shown in a living room playing The Mandalorian

I’m sure you’re wondering what my favorite Prime Day TV deal so far is. Well, that title goes to the Hisense 55-inch U8N 4K Mini-LED TV for $798 at Amazon. This is our choice for the best TV on the market right now, and after this $300 discount, it has hit its lowest price ever. Make sure to snag this one while you can.

White Yeti Tundra 35 Cooler opened on a sandy beach with recently harvested clams inside

My colleague Dan Bracaglia wrote about 5 reasons why he wants a Yeti Cooler and I have to admit, he’s made me tempted to pick one up too. Now’s a good time thanks to this Prime Day deal that takes 30% off the Yeti Tundra 45 Cooler. It stores up to 26 cans, and is even bear proof. As far as I know, no bears live here in the U.K., but it doesn’t hurt to be prepared.

Ninja Creami making ice cream

The Ninja Creami ice cream maker is 25% off in this Prime exclusive deal. And it doesn’t just make ice cream — you can also use it to whip up gelato, sorbet, frozen yoghurt and frozen drinks. Although our Ninja Creami review noted that you have to pre-freeze your ingredients, nothing beats a home made pint of ice cream in your favorite flavour. Make sure to click the on-page coupon to get the full discount.

Ninja Creami: was $199 now $149 @ Amazon

Roku Streaming Stick 4K

Prime Day may see many Fire TV sticks being sold, but our choice for the best streaming device actaully comes from Roku. Right now the Roku Streaming Stick 4K is $29 at Amazon ($20 off.) We love it because of its snappy loading times, solid interface and Dolby Vision support. It also has a reduced focus on showing you ads compared to Fire TV streaming sticks.

Ring video doorbell Prime day

Prime Day is the best time of year to shop Amazon hardware, and that includes home security products from Ring. Right now you can add a video doorbell to your home for just $49. Our Ring Video Doorbell review said this is the best video doorbell you can get for under $100, and it’s even better value after this discount.

MacBook Air M3 held up with lid open

The MacBook Air M3 is on sale for an excellent discount ahead of Prime Day. Right now you can get the 13-inch MacBook Air (M3/256GB) for $898 at Amazon. It’s $200 off its original price, the lowest I’ve ever seen. This is our choice for the best laptop on the market, so I highly recommend snapping one up.
